Iron Bloom Installation & Services Terms
Effective 2026-07-09 · Issued by Iron Bloom Medical LLC
These Installation & Services Terms apply together with the Iron Bloom General Terms; both are incorporated by your signed Installation & Services Agreement.
1. What we do
As listed and priced in your Installation & Services Agreement:
- Site survey and technical requirements for your facility;
- Preparation works at the Site (scope from the survey);
- Import handling: customs clearance of the Chamber and acting as importer of record;
- Installation and assembly of the Chamber at the Site;
- Commissioning: connection, configuration, calibration, and testing;
- Training of your personnel (number of courses per your agreement);
- Any additional works you order (your agreement is the home for all extras).
2. What we need from you (Site readiness)
2.1 You are responsible for: architectural design, permits, and regulatory approvals for your facility; building works beyond the agreed preparation works; utilities (power, water, drainage, ventilation) meeting the specifications we provide; clear access for delivery (including crane access); and a safe working environment for our team.
2.2 We provide the technical requirements for the Site within 30 days of signing. The Site must be ready for installation on the scheduled date.
2.3 If work stalls because the Site is not ready or access is not provided, waiting time and re-mobilization are charged at our applicable rates (quoted on request), and the timeline extends. (Chamber storage in that case is covered by the Equipment Supply Terms.)
3. Preparation works
3.1 The scope and price in your agreement are based on the site survey and the assumptions listed there (structurally adequate floor, no hazardous materials, normal working hours, no unforeseen conditions).
3.2 If conditions differ materially from those assumptions, we notify you promptly; any additional work happens only by written variation (quote + your written acceptance).
4. Installation and commissioning
4.1 We install and commission the Chamber with qualified personnel, coordinating the schedule with you. The Chamber must not be in clinical use during our work (obvious before Handover; relevant again for later service visits).
4.2 Commissioning is complete when the Chamber operates per its Product Sheet under our commissioning procedure and applicable certification requirements.
5. Handover and acceptance
5.1 When commissioning and training are complete, we present the Handover Certificate — one page confirming: Chamber delivered, installed, and commissioned; training delivered; documentation and keys handed over.
5.2 You have 5 Business Days from presentation to flag material defects in writing. If you flag none in that window — or if the Chamber is used for clinical operations — the Chamber is accepted.
5.3 At acceptance (signature or deemed): the services balance becomes due, risk in the Chamber passes to you, and the warranty period begins.
5.4 If you flag a material defect in time, we remedy it and present the certificate again; clause 5.2 then reapplies.
6. Training and operators
6.1 Training covers safe operation, daily checks, emergency procedures, and basic troubleshooting. Personnel who complete it receive personal operator certificates (non-transferable).
6.2 The Chamber may only be operated by certified operators. Additional or refresher training is available at €3,000 per 3-day course.
7. Workmanship warranty
We warrant our preparation works, installation, and commissioning workmanship for 24 months from Handover: defects caused by our workmanship are remedied at our cost. (The Chamber itself is covered by the warranty in the Equipment Supply Terms — you never need to determine which applies; report to us and we sort it internally.)
8. Ongoing support
If something is wrong with your Chamber, contact us. We respond promptly — remote diagnosis first, and our service team comes on-site when needed. Safety issues come first. (Scheduled maintenance runs under your Maintenance Agreement.)
9. References
You agree that we may name you and your facility as a reference and, with reasonable notice and your consent on timing, arrange occasional reference visits. You can opt out in your signed agreement or at any time by written notice.
10. Liability
The liability architecture of the Equipment Supply Terms (clause 9 there) applies to this Agreement equally, with our total liability capped at the price you have actually paid under this Agreement.
